Welcome your students to their new classroom by giving them this "First Day
of School" packet! Inside students will find several activites that help
them get to know their peers. As the teacher, there are several activities you
can use to get to know your students and preview their writing skills. At the
back of the packet there is time capsule that students complete with information
about their "favorites!" Teachers, keep the time capsule stored away until the
very end of the year. Open the time capsule on the last day of school and allow
students to compare their beginning-of-the-year favorites to the end-of-the-year
favorites!
